You're never going to end it unless you make a change to how you relate to them and take the wind out of their ideological and motivational sails.
Granted, some are going to continue the fight regardless because that's just how their brains work.
But let them be apart of the crazy minority who "normally" want to do these kinds of things, rather than part of the heroes who are standing against what is seen as the bullies.
That way, we can all concentrate on them and make sure that they get the psychiatric care that they need, rather than have them be protected by the people whom they're allegedly fighting for.
Every instance of oppression breeds this kind of behavior and destabilizes the world, making it harder to turn an ultimate profit in spite of the so called "benefits" that are realized from these operations.
And, it's only a matter of time before the tables are turned, and the oppressor becomes the deposed or the new oppressed.
Just ask the Inca.
Or the Romans.
And those were only the ones that go conquered.
Imagine all of those other ones who have lost all their possessions, their status and their wealth as a result of it.
Like the British.
Or the Turks.
Or the Mongols.
Or the Chinese.
To name a few.

It's not good to do these kinds of things.
And other avenues of "exploitation" need to be considered and fleshed out, if we're actually going to realize that level of contentment and satisfaction that we're all striving to get.
Matter of fact, it's more of a question of cooperation amongst the species rather than competition.
And, I hypothesize that you get much more of what you need/wanted all along, rather than just want you explicitly wanted initially.
Think about it.
Because you lose out when you don't.
Think about it.
