Israel's Goofiness

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-19274866

Wow.

This is silly.

I don't think that a war with Iran is going to last "30 days".

Nor do I think that it would be wise to rattle the saber in this fashion, seeing as how it's unlikely to last 30 days.

Honestly, I think it's time we had a little intervention on Israel's behalf.

They're falling into the classic pattern of being overly cocky in spite of the fact that they almost lost the Yom Kippur War, and will now, likely, be facing a more unified and coordinated Islamic front.

They're not dealing with the petty "Republican" tyrants of the 20th century.

They're now confronting an international organization on one side, and religious cousins on the other side who are showing signs of reconciliation after centuries of conflict in their own right.

I would not be this sure of themselves, if I were them, coming from a self-preservationist standpoint. And, if they're having such a difficulty handling these kinds of things on their own, perhaps it would be best for the United States to intervene on Israel's behalf, and diffuse this conflict by threatening to withhold Israel's billion plus dollar allowance that they get from us.

We can also bring about peace with such a tactic by having the Israeli government get rid of settlers and treat the Palestinians more equitably and with dignity.

That would probably go a long way towards smoothing things over with the Muslim world, if they haven't already botched it so badly that they can't use those peace building methods anymore.

It's only a thought.

And we'll see what Israel gets with this puffed up sense of self.

A silly little government. Filled with silly little people.

And you can just bite me for saying that publicly on the interwebs.

Think about it.

Silly brains.

Think about it.
